Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Praxis. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
1. Your account
You’re responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information and don’t impersonate others. You must meet the minimum age that applies in your region to use the app and its social features.
2. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app: no illegal activity, harassment of accountability partners, attempts to break or overload the service, or uploading content you don’t have the right to share.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the tasks, goals, and photos you create. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content back to you (and to partners you choose to share with) so the app can function.
4. AI-generated plans
The AI goal planner produces suggestions, not professional advice. Plans may be inaccurate or incomplete — use your judgment, especially for health, financial, or other consequential goals.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Praxis Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and it renews automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
6. Service availability
The app is provided “as is.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we don’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any outcome resulting from your reliance on plans, reminders, or streaks generated by the app.
8. Termination
You can stop using the app and permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
10. Apple App Store
The following applies when you download Praxis from the Apple App Store, and it prevails over anything to the contrary in these terms:
Acknowledgement. These terms are between you and Praxis only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Your license to use Praxis is a limited, non-transferable license to use it on any Apple-branded product you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules, except that it may be accessed by other accounts through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Maintenance and support. Praxis is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the app. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
Warranty. Praxis is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.
Product claims. Praxis, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app or your possession and use of it, including but not limited to product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
Intellectual property. If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes that party's intellectual property rights, Praxis, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
